Arts in Prison has many opportunities for volunteer assistance.
Volunteer as an Instructor
All Arts in Prison programs are led by volunteer instructors. Our program manager will lead you through the process of developing your program and completing facility volunteer training. Click here to contact an Arts in Prison staff member for more information.
Arts in Prison accepts donations of art supplies for use in programs held inside corrections facilities. For example: yarn, plastic knitting needles and crochet hooks, acrylic paints, brushes, canvases, charcoal pencils, drawing paper, blank sheet music (manuscript paper), how to play instrument instruction books, composition books, and journals. Arts in Prison is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. We support our programs with grants and individual donations. We do not receive support from the Department of Corrections. Click here to make a donation.
Do you have a great idea to help Arts in Prison increase its revenue? Email email@example.com.
Arts in Prison hosts 4 East Hill Singers concerts and at least on fundraising event each year. We can always use help with planning and carrying out these events. Contact us for more information.
Do you have great organizational skills? We can always use help with our music library and cataloging art work or help in the office. Contact us to help!
